This morning we showed up at the airport, only to find out that our confirmation was deconfirmed. I was on the phone for 2 hours with Delta and STA Travel representatives trying to figure out what went wrong. Eventually... We didn't get a flight out of KC... But our flight from ATL to MADRID was still good. How is it that we couldn't find a flight down to ATL??!
Well.. Now we are flying out tomorrow and everything has been reimbursed from STA Travel. The punchline is that Delta/AirFrance had confirmed a flight for this morning.. Maybe I should have checked the flight info earlier.. But I really had no idea that anything had changed. There was a communication break, but everyone was really understanding and patient to get this figured out for us. Oh well. Atleast this happened here and not abroad. We wouldn't have gotten anything with representatives over there.. I would know from that train strike fiasco in Bergamo... Seesh
