I have heard that you either love Berlin and hate Munich. Or you hate Berlin and you love Munich. I would be the latter. Maybe hate is too strong of a word.. Berlin is just not my favorite city I have seen in Europe. Everyone talks about the craziness and such.. But I just don't see it. I was waiting to get blown away, but the only thing that has impressed me so far is the hostel. (Which if you ever travel to Berlin Hostel one80 is a bargain and AMAZING!) Berlin is not as quaint looking... East Berlin looks run down and the architecture is plain and ... Simple. West Berlin is a mix of old and new and so things look out if place. Not my taste in architecture, that's for sure.
I am glad though, however, that its not as crowded as I thought it was going to be. Definitely a lot of space here in Berlin. And lots of trains... Everywhere!
Tomorrow we head to Potsdam and Frankfurt. Can't wait for more!
